Potamides

      You play as a young potamides (river spirit) that has been tempted from its brood by the magic emanating from a grove of will'o'wisps. You must find a way to return to your cloud before your energy is depleted and all hopes of returning are lost.

Seek high ground, avoid or defeat enemies, consume will'o'wisps or destroy enemy beetles to restore your life-force.  Your life-force will deplete over time, and faster in certain forms than others. Use your forms wisely and you will be able to make difficult jumps and destroy many foes.

The goal can be difficult to find, remember to keep going up. There is more than one way to reach most platforms.

This game was made for the UE4 Spring Jam 2018.

Known Bugs: 

- Pausing the game and resuming will cause the cursor to remain visible. Restarting the level will fix this.

- Success Screen upon winning does not have a background, it can be difficult to read your time elapsed and wisps collected stats.

Controls:

W, A, S, D to move; mouse to look around

Transform between three states: Ice, Water, and Vapor. 

Q - Ice Form: Conserves life-force more than other forms and can harm mortal creatures, keeps some momentum from other states but is generally immobile. This form is useful for ending jumps.

E - Water Form: Move swiftly. Useful for gathering momentum, switch to ice form to bowl into enemies or vapor form to make very long jumps.

Space - Vapor Form: Life-force depletes rapidly, but you are able to jump and glide across great distances.
